Status canister hand pump is designed for any of our Status vacuum accessories, including the canisters, the vacuum jug, the universal vacuum lids and the wine stoppers. When pumped up and down it removes the air out through the valve and causes a vacuum inside. Pumping slowly is always more effective than fast.
With this hand pump it saves time as you don't have to pull the vacuum sealer out to do the job. Position it over the valve and pull the handle up and down. When it builds up resistance you will know that you have extracted enough air so that your food will stay fresher longer.
If you have canisters from else where. As long as they have a similar valve system on the lid then this Status canister hand pump will work on them as well.
