Using wide bags in a domestic vacuum sealer

Vacuum sealing a 35cm wide bag in a vacuum sealer that is only 29 cm wide.

In this video we are using the Status HV100 to vacuum seal a 35 cm wide bag which is about 6 cm to wide for the machine. A few things to bare in mind when doing this is that it is time consuming and harder on your machine than using a proper professional or commercial machine. The pump is a lot smaller so it will take time to vacuum all the air out and you are better off doing that on manual mode or the pulse function. There are 4 seals per bag if making the bag from a roll or 2 seals per bag if using premade bags, the seals need to cross over not run to each other.
