Our Food vacuum canister hoses will connect your vacuum sealer to your canister to remove the air from the canister. There are 3 different types that food vacuum sealers Australia supply. The Status canister hose, ZeroPak canister hose and the FVS400 canister hose. There are suitable for all of our canister sets. The Food vacuum canister hoses may be compatible with other brands, but please check first.

• The FVS400 canister hose is compatible with the Preservac vacuum sealers to connect with the Status, Tritan and Munro canisters. We do now have its own listing also, Preservac to Status canister hose

Using the Food vacuum canister hoses

Put the smaller end onto the vacuum port of your vacuum sealer machine. Then position it over the valve of the vacuum canister. When it builds up pressure the machine will automatically shut off meaning that it is at around 55 - 60 kpa, depending on the machine used. So that your food will stay fresher longer. This system will extend food storage up to 3 - 4 times of a normal container in the fridge or freezer. To release the pressure just move the valve sideways and release the side clamps. When cleaning your canisters, insure there are no particles' on the seal area or under the seal rubber.
